Today I realized that I am naturally adventurous, that I am stronger than my fears, and that I have no limits. Today I pushed myself, physically and mentally, to an unknown level, and I learned to NEVER underestimate myself

Aspiring to become the Senator of Trans-Nzoia County in the Republic of Kenya in East Africa.

I Dalton Khamala Angola believe that with the passage of the new constitution Kenya has an opportunity to re-brand itself as a leader in the region, that through the counties it can redeem itself from the mismanagement that has caused its people to wallow in abject poverty. County chiefs (governors and senators) are expected to be on the front line, delivering quality services to people and providing leadership in their communities. I believe that these leaders can place-shape, influencing the type of quality life and offering solutions in their respective counties

Trans-Nzoia County is a cosmopolitan area. It is made up of three constituencies namely: Cherangani, Saboti and Kwanza.

If elected the Senator in a county that lacks behind in terms of development leaving also most all the youths to run to the boda boda business and mothers to vend vegetables, Dalton Khamala will work with other elected leaders both civic and parliamentary together with the governor to initiate several poverty-alleviation and related projects, including upgrading of learning facilities and tackling the landless people in the county, Ask any parent in the county today if they know a good boarding school, they will start with Lugulu Boarding primary ,Nzoia Sugar Primary and probably finish with Mumias complex or Mumias central. These schools are not in the county.

Together with elected leaders, I will be able to initiate better learning centers and have at least two universities. And also upgrade Kitale Technical to Michael Wamalwa University.

Will also ensure that the county sets aside funds to cater for bright students and have excellence centers spread in the county.

Dalton Khamala was born in Kiminini Location, Trans-Nzoia on August 18, 1977, the second son of Dimas Chesoli Angola and Beatrice Nanyama Angola. Dalton passed through Muliro DEB Primary School and Kibabii Boys High School. After college he worked briefly at Diani Beach Hospital in South Coast and went into private business

Dalton Khamala is a loving family man, he and his wife Rachel have one son, Michael Angola Kissinger born on 18/08/2008.

have decided to bring change and redefine the way leadership is – leadership that seeks liberation from the corruption and favoritism that has left the people without hope.

The people of this county have been denied access to information by the very leaders they have elected, sending them to a state of confusion and not being able to tell the available alternative. They have become victims of euphoria going by the current wave of party politics every election year, ignoring persons who can champion for their welfare. The time has come to bring change true leadership that involves the electorate.

I Dalton Khamala Angola do therefore humbly submit my candidature for the Senator’s seat in Trans-Nzoia County in the Republic of Kenya. It is an honour and a privilege to seek to represent the people of Trans-Nzoia. With your vote you will have indeed given me a voice to represent Trans-Nzoia County, articulating your need for better and transparent governance, equal opportunities for all, income creation, and the need for bridging our communities extreme divides.
